THE EU AND THE UK ELECTION:
Dissection, Reflection, Direction
On 11 May 2015 the Union of European Federalists organised a debate between MEPs, journalists and representatives of the corporate world from different political orientations in order to dissect the results of the recent general election in the UK, reflect on what they mean for Britain and the rest of Europe and debate the future direction of the European Project for the UK and the other EU Member States.
The panelists attempted to decipher the implications of the UK General Election on the relations between London and Brussels and the prospects of reform for the EU in the following years.
