On Thursday 22 October 2015, UEF and UEF Spain organised a debate “Por una Europa Unida y Federal” ("For a United and Federal Europe") at the Information Office of the European Parliament to Spain in Madrid.

Guest speakers Íñigo MÉNDEZ DE VIGO, Minister of Education and Culture and former Minister for Europe and Enrique BARÓN CRESPO, President of the European Parliament (1989-1992) were joined by Vice President of UEF Spain Domènec RUIZ DEVESA to discuss Spain's role in Europe and the potential for and necessity of a Federal European Union. The debate was moderated by Televisión Española journalist Anna BOSCH.
