The European Parliament has repeatedly called for the establishment of a United Nations Parliamentary Assembly (UNPA) to enable citizen participation at the international level and to strengthen the democratic character of the United Nations.
The reception takes place on the occassion of the Steering Committee Meeting of CEUNPA in the premises of the European Parliament. It is an opportunity to learn more about the proposal for a United Nations Parliamentary Assembly and to network with leading activists from around the world and the European Parliament.
