The EU and the UK Election: Dissection, Reflection, Direction
The Union of European Federalists organised a debate on Monday 11th of May at The Press Club in Brussels to discuss the future of Europe and the UK’s place in it.

How will the General Election in the UK impact relations between Britain and the EU for the coming years? What will it mean for the prospects of reform for the EU?

In a packed room with many more turned away at the door, a panel of expert speakers, including a number of current British MEPs, dissected the results, reflected on what they mean for Britain and the rest of Europe and debated the future direction of the European Project for the UK and the other EU Member States.
