An active member is the lifeblood of the organisation. The following activities are some examples of how UEF members can actively foster the promotion of the European Federalism.


JOIN POLITICAL COMMISSIONS     
UEF Political Commissions are primary responsible for managing deep analysis of the current EU issues and working on the creation of federalists response to them by developing reflection papers, proposals for resolutions and other documents.  Currently there are three political commissions: PC1: Economic Governance, PC2: External Affairs, PC3: European Citizens' Initiative and PC4: Home Affairs. As an observer, you can contribute to the discussions and debates at the PCs. JOIN WORKING GROUPS
Working Groups are ad-hoc committees temporarily focusing on the deep analysis of specific EU issues. Currently there is the Financial Reform Working Group.
 
BE ACTIVE ONLINE
Spread federalists’ ideas by commenting on articles and blog entries online, comment on facebook.com statuses of your friends and organisations you follow.  Promote federalists ideas on Twitter.com. 
 

WRITE ARTICLES! BLOG!    
Persistent online communication can strengthen mechanisms allowing to influence agenda of European Union and decisions made. Writing articles and blogging helps creating a permanent presence of federalist ideas in media such as EurActiv.com, EUobserver.com, cafebabel.com, EuropeanVoice.com, etc. Choose current hot topics and express your federalist point of view! Don’t forget to inform the secretariat about articles you have written. 
 

REPRESENT UEF IN EXTERNAL EVENTS        
Visit political debates and events and make federalist interventions and questions raising federalists’ issues and in that way directly reaching a large amount of decision makers, opinion builders and general public, who might have never heard about federalists’ point of view.
